On the basis of success of the PEPSI STAR SQUAD 2006, Bahrain, and the GCC PEPSI STREET FOOTBALL CHALLENGE 2007, PEPSICO have decided a new regional concept, “PEPSI STREET SKILLZ08, targeting most households in 4 countries. To reach this vast Objective, It is essential to:
· Embark on a grassroots ‘street Skills Challenge’ program based on: cities, with a major Prize “Trip to Euro to meet “PEPSI STARS”.
· Develop a unique testing method to identify the hidden talents.
TARGET OF INITIATIVE
Identifying the best 14-19 year old freestyle skills through:
· City skills Challenges; and
· Best free style videos.
Selection of each City best Talent videos for National voting initiative:
· Kuwait: 10
· KSA: 20
· UAE: 10
· Oman: 10
CRITERIA
Citizens of the following Countries within GCC are eligible to participate in the events:
· Kuwait
· Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
· UAE
· Oman, and;
· Must be:
o Physically fit and healthy
o Personality, dependable, sociable etc

RULES AND REGULATIONS
· Every Player must register 2 days prior to the start date in his city event.
· Player will be accepted on-site based on space availability.
· Maximum of 300 players will be accepted for each city event.
· Each player must have a special player I.D. number in order to play.
· Shirt & Short will be given to each player that is eligible to participate.
· Regulation balls will be used.
· Only normal football shoes are allowed.
· Skills drills starts with player assigned number (1) until the last player performance.
· The Skills test Zone size is 30 meters by 40 meters with 2 “Show Stage” areas.
· All players must be present on-site half hour before start time and must be ready to perform based on assigned player number.
· Each player is given a maximum time of 2 minutes to perform.
· The clock will start and stop at each zone evaluators’ discretion. |
